Durable Protection, Stylish Designs

If you want to make a statement and stick out from the neighborhood, nothing says “this is home” more than a custom iron gate. No matter if you’re in a modern home in Rosedale or a century-old Leslieville brick house, our gates aren’t just functional, they’re forged with personality, built to last, and designed to match the vibe of your house. We understand that people see your gate first, so having a generic or flimsy gate is the last thing you want.

We’ve been crafting and installing wrought iron art, including iron gates, across Toronto for years, and we still pay attention to every detail, how the scrollwork catches the light, how smoothly it swings open, how solid it feels. Because to us, it’s not just metal. It’s your home’s handshake.

  • Professionally installed by our licensed in-house contractors
  • Our experienced engineers make sure your gate is durable & stylish
  • Clear communication through it all so you’re always in the loop

Benefits of Iron Gates

Strong first impression

Before knocking, visitors, delivery personnel, and even bystanders get an idea of the personality of your house.

Protect what’s yours

A sturdy iron gate protects your property and pets without hiding behind a giant wall.

Ages gracefully

Unlike cheap metal that fades or dents, our wrought iron gates have a lived-in look like a leather chair.

Compliments your landscape

Open designs maintain the feeling of openness in your yard while providing privacy and control.

No seasonal surprises

Toronto’s freezing winters and humid summers won’t warp it, maintain its shape year-round.

Real life durability

Our gates are engineered to handle daily use without bending, breaking, or needing constant fixes.

Common Designs We’ve Made

Consider timeless symmetry, soft loops, and graceful curves. If you live in a heritage home in Cabbagetown or The Annex and want something that pays homage to the past while remaining modern, this style is ideal because it honors that European tradition without feeling stuffy.

Lots of negative space, geometric shapes, and clean lines. If your home has exposed brick, flat roofs, or black-framed windows, this style is great for giving a clean, uncluttered look while providing security and structure.

Without obstructing views, these spear tops add a touch of formality and height. Excellent for homes with long driveways or front yards that require definition, and perfect for homeowners who want a little bit of classic charm.

Even a modest entry feels grand thanks to a lovely curve at the top that softens the appearance and draws the eye upward. Homeowners who want their front gate to feel like a true “welcome” moment or who have porticos or arched windows will love this design.

These gates open like arms to your driveway and are designed for wider openings (think 10+ feet). They can be automated for convenient access, making them ideal for homeowners with larger properties and looking for both functionality and curb appeal.

We combine iron framing with solid panels (such as integrated wood slats or laser-cut steel). Perfect if you want a cozier, more secluded feel or if your front yard faces a busy street.

    Commonly Asked Questions

Very. When it’s forged right, and installed right, your gate is one of the toughest barriers you can put around your property. Unlike flimsy aluminum or hollow vinyl, solid iron resists bending, kicking, or prying. Pair it with a good lock or automatic latch (we can help with that), and you’ve got serious peace of mind.

Surprisingly little. A quick rinse with a hose a few times a year, maybe a wipe-down with a damp cloth if dust builds up. If your gate has a powder-coated finish, it’s already protected against chipping and fading. No sanding, no repainting, just enjoy it.

Not if it’s done properly. If it’s treated with rust-inhibiting primers and seal it under a durable powder coat that locks out moisture, you’ll be fine. Rust only happens when corners are cut.

Could be a few things: the ground shifted (common in older Toronto lots), hinges got loose over time, or the latch isn’t aligned. Sometimes it’s as simple as tightening a bolt, other times, the post needs resetting.

Most single walk-through gates are 36” to 48” wide, enough room for people (and delivery boxes) without wasting space. Driveway gates usually start at 10 feet and go up to 16+ feet for double-wide openings. Every gate we build is custom-fit to your opening, slope, and style, so it works perfectly from day one.
